Due to the rapid growth of our organisation and in order to realise our future objectives, we would like to get in touch with candidates for the position of Customer Service Employee.

 

How do you make the difference?

You will be part of the customer service team. This department processes all telephone and digital customer enquiries and orders from our customers throughout Europe. In addition, the department takes care of receiving customers in our showroom. As a Customer Service Employee, you have daily contact with customers where you advise (potential) customers based on your product knowledge. You also have internal contacts with the E-commerce colleagues, purchasing department and the manager of the logistics team and, together with your colleagues, you ensure that the showroom is always spotless. Product knowledge is important in this position. We therefore expect you to have the technical knowledge to quickly master product knowledge. We are very active in the German market, so you will be fluent in the German language both verbally and in writing. French and English are a plus in professional proficiency. You have experience in both the B2C and B2B markets. Customer Service is the responsibility of the Commercial Director.

 

What will you do as a Customer Service Employee at SPR Retail?

  • you will advise customers both via email, chat, on the phone and physically in the showroom;
  • together with the team, you improve customer satisfaction every day;
  • you make quotations for our customers if necessary;
  • you monitor customer reviews;
  • keeping your product knowledge up to date;
  • ensuring that any customer complaints are dealt with properly in accordance with the applicable procedures;
  • keeping the showroom looking tidy at all times;
  • you identify sales opportunities and proactively advise your manager if processes and/or information can be improved.

You have:

  • MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level;
  • Several years of work experience in a commercial and/or customer-oriented position, preferably in a technical environment or similar products we have in our range;
  • A commercially driven attitude, you are result-oriented and can motivate, convince, direct and coach people;
  • Excellent communication skills and the professional ability to communicate with customers (verbally and in writing) in Dutch, English and German. French is definitely an advantage;
  • Affinity with technology and technical products and you quickly master product features.
